Love and listening are transformative, and if we are able to begin by offering them to ourselves, first, we can meet our world with that love and listening. 

What could you do today to bring a small kindness into someone’s day?  Even someone you don’t know at all?

This picture was taken five years ago.  It was a happy day on the beach with friends in the waning days of summer.  But time is so wild it feels like it might have been two weeks ago.

My son wants me to teach him how to play the piano, and this has given me some anxiety.  I grew up playing the piano and really loved it.
